4 Week Statistics

The tiny tots were 4 weeks old yesterday. Our pedi came to the house for their first check up. She has been kind enough to offer to do home visits for now since there are so many of them and because she does not want them in the office during the winter months if we can help it. She also saw Jackson at our house yesterday because he has been coughing up a storm!

No serious concerns. She did think she was hearing some mild heart murmurs on Brooklyn and Westin, but nothing pathological. She said if there were any pathological concerns, it would have been picked up on the heart monitors while they were in the NICU. She is going to refer them all to opthamologists at 6 months of age because they were premature, but again no major concerns because they were never on high flow rates of oxygen (which is a risk factor for eye problems in preemies). Everyone is doing well and the nurse just went on and on about what a miracle our outcome was! So, at 4 weeks old, here are their weights (I don't have their lengths or percentiles right now because they are going to mail the forms to me, but I remember the weights)

Brooklyn: 5 lbs 14 oz
Gage: 5 lbs 12 oz
Westin: 6 lbs 15 oz (my chub)
Kynlee: 5 lbs 4 oz (my petite one)

Mostly this is for my own records. Everyone continues to grow bigger each day (some bigger than others . . . yes, Westin I am talking about you!)
