Westin

Westin is such a sweet boy (though he has let loose a little mean streak recently).  He always has a big, beautiful, dimpled smile for you and he runs for hugs and kisses all the time!  Out of everyone, he has the most hysterical facial expressions.  I have never seen so much expression in a child's face before.  He makes some of the silliest, saddest and just plain goofiest faces I have ever seen.

Westin Wayne, looking a little dazed and confused.  2 years old in his Tech shirt
When Westin is excited, he will go through 3 or 4 different excited facial expressions in a matter of seconds.  One of my favorites is his ashamed (I just got in trouble face).  He puts is chin against one shoulder and delivers the best pouty face EVER!  His cheesy grin is enough to melt your heart!!

He still likes a little quiet time and enjoys being alone once in a while, but he has really started interacting more and more with the others.  He's also involved in more fights over toys than anyone else.  I'm not sure if he instigates or if everyone else recognizes that he's shorter and smaller and they think they can push him around.  I've seen him give the others his fair share of "heck" so who knows.  He and Kynlee don't get along so well sometimes, but he's good buddies with everyone else.

Westin can do a mean hiney-wiggle and he doesn't run often, but when he does, it is so funny.  He gets his arms and legs going with a little hiney-wiggle to go with it.  One of the only times he runs is when he knows it is time for bed.  He laughs and runs as fast as he can, but as soon as you catch him, that laugh changes to protest!!

He probably talks less than anyone, but I think he's just quieter and maybe recognizes that there are enough voices, because every now and then, he pops ups saying something I didn't know he could say!  Or,  maybe he's just lazy and figures why talk when others can do it for him.

He calls Kynlee "Nee-nee" and Brooklyn "La-la" by name, but I haven't heard him say anyone else's name yet.

Since it's seasonal, I also want to note that I heard him say pumpkin for the first time yesterday, "mumpmin."  He was the first to say "Poppo" (that's my dad) and he loves to talk about  him and find his pictures.

I live for those precious, cheesy grins from my sweet, sweet Westin.  I can't get enough of his snuggles and love!
