Quick Wit

Should I be scared that my 3 1/2 year old is already exhibiting a very quick and somewhat smart a** wit?! My dad asked me recently while we were visiting if we used the term "crazy butt" at our house. I looked at him with a confused expression and said no. At which point he filled me in on the story that led him to ask the question.

While Poppo and Jackson were playing ball in the front yard, the ball must have gone into the street. I guess Jackson tried to go get it and the following conversation ensued:

Poppo: "Call me crazy, but I don't want you to get run over by a car."
Jackson: "Ok, Crazy Butt."

My dad figured that this must have happened before or we must use that term, because he didn't think Jackson could have made the connection and the joke so quickly, but it's never happened that I'm aware of. You just never know what is going to come out of that kid's mouth!! Love him (though I'm a little scared of how quick on the draw he is)!
