Independence

I have been more and more independent in taking care of my clan alone and I am really proud of myself for being able to handle it mostly with grace and sometimes with frustration. Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate help, especially with feedings and also so I can get out the house to run normal errands or just to feel like a member of society, but there is a sense of accomplishment in knowing that I truly can handle this by myself when necessary:)

Today, I was successful in taking four infants in two double strollers (attached with a stroller attachment) on a walk ALL BY MYSELF. I have the Graco Quattro Duo double strollers and they are amazing. Even when lashed together, they were not difficult to manuever or steer. They were heavy with all the babies and their carriers, but that made it a good work out. It's amazing how pushing 4 babies can make you feel even the slightest incline in a very flat town!! It was great and it made me feel accomplished (sometimes it's the little things in life). This of course was while Jackson was a daycare, I'm not THAT brave!

The stroller attachment was not completely compatible with my strollers (most of the bars were too big), but a little determination goes a long way and I was determined to get out of the house for a little exercise and fresh air! I wish that I could have taken a picture, because I'm sure it was a sight, but my arm just isn't quite long enough to do the self portrait thing and capture the stollers as well as myself:)

Now I am off to bed for what will hopefully be a restful night. We'll see what amazing feat I can achieve tomorrow! :)
